Sample Letter for Sponsorship Request to Bank

Dear bank manager,

I am writing to you because I would like a sponsorship. I would like to have some money to represent my team who is representing the country abroad. My team is a swimming team, and I have some professional swimmers who would love the opportunity to represent the country in Rio for the (Date) Olympics. However we don’t have the money to pay for all the traveling, accommodation, and food for all of the team. That is why we would need to have someone who can sponsor us for the whole of the trip. Or at least have some money from the bank like a loan. Together as a team we can’t get that sort of money together so soon but over time we can. So we would be able to pay it off. I hope that you will grant us this it would make our dreams come true.
