The manager
Dear Sir,
With due respect, It is stated that I have been working in your company as assistance sales manager for three years. According to the company regulations I should had been promoted to sales manager by now. However, no promotion has been granted to me yet.
I have a clean record with no complaints of negligence, or any other sort on my behalf. I have worked hard, and my achievements are known to the company. I have more qualification than required for this job. Despite my over-qualification I was working with in the job this long because it had good promotional prospects.
However, after not getting increment, or promotion after one year of extra work, I am finally writing this application to request for a promotion. I hope you will understand my concerns, and ensure my promotion as per company regulations.
Thank you for your time, and consideration.
Regards
Adam Harrison

Dear Sir
Am senior from others my joining date is june14,(Date).my colleague’s joining date is june20,(Date).But at the promotion time my junior colleague senior from me. i want to claim my seniority against my colleague.
It is submitted with regret that I have not been considered eligible for the promotion in spite of my seniority over my colleague who has been promoted. My joining date is june 14 (Date) whereas one of my colleague’s joining date is june 20 (Date), and he has been promoted but I am still working on the same scale.
It is pertinent to mention here that I have never been imposed with any sort of penalty, or warning, or fine, and never been declared a negligent in any case. Every year my acr report is made excellent by the seniors. In this situation, not acquiring the promotion is a painful experience for me.
In the light of above mentioned facts, you are requested to please consider my name eligible for the said promotion. It will not only help me in making a good living for my family but also work as catalyst for boosting up my morale, and would certainly enhance my working in the duty hours.
An early action in this regard shall be highly appreciated.
