Respected sir,
With all my sincere respect, I am writing this letter to inform you that I have sent the questionnaires to the software industry people, and I am waiting for their response. As you know they are busy people, and it will take time for them to fill it out therefore I will be bit late approximately 2, or 3 days to submit my final project report.
Please allow me to submit the project report 3 days later of the due date. I am trying my best to get their responses as soon as possiblebut for the safe side I need 3 extra days. I shall be really thankful to you if you allow me to submit if after the due date. I am looking forward to our response. Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Miss Anitha Marshal
Sir
We apologize for the late submission of your project. It was a huge challenge for our group to complete our project within the given deadline. We were going with good pace, and the project was meant to be completed in the given time but then one of our group members fell seriously ill. He remained in the hospital for three years. Due to his absence the task of writing was totally disturbed, and that ultimately culminated in late submission.
We are hard working students, and have never made any lame excuse. I request you to accept our project. Our annual result relies on this submission. It is a matter of our career. We cannot afford to have bad grades in our final results.
Expecting your cooperation.
Thank You
Dear Class Teacher,
Last week you gave us a project on Environmental Pollution which we were supposed to present on Monday, 25th September (Date).
Unfortunately, due to sudden death of a family relative, I was not able to come to school. I have taken leave for a week, and will be back by 30th September. I apologize for not informing you about this earlier. I request you kindly give me 10 minutes in your class on Monday to submit my project along with the presentation. I hope you grant me this permission.
I would be very thankful to you.
Yours Sincerely,
Fatima Aamir

Respected Manager,
I sent this letter to inform you that there will be delay in the submission of the project which was given to IT department. The project was to find information about BTEC system, and make a proposal for different schools to start this system. We got all the information we could from the internet about this system, and sent a mail to the EDEXCEL regarding the registration process.
However, they still have not sent back a response yet. We will immediately complete the project whenever we receive the response from EDEXCEL however this might result in delay in project submission. Thank you.
Best Regards,
Ali noor

Dear Sir Peter,
Hope you are doing well. This email is to inform you that the project of the company still needs some amendments in it, and the employees are meticulously working over it. They are investing their time, and energy, and are willing to submit quality work.
For that purpose, we need extension in the deadline as we would not be able to submit the project within three days. I request you to consider this email, and let me know if you agree over the new date for submission.
Yours sincerely,
James. H Lean
